NEW PROJECT!!
Our groups of 1ºESO are going to participate in a project run by Global Cities, Inc. A Program of Bloomberg Philanthropies form New York, USA.
This project will last the whole year and will involve Biology and English. The topic is: Feeding our cities
The students will work on this project twice a week, part of one of the biology lesson and one english lesson.
We will take part in an international discussion among students of many countries and will have the opportunity to get, to know other people and cultures.
The material will be provided by the Global Cities and sometimes the students will use our internet devices to talk and to present their materials to the rest of the participants.

Unit 3: Growing the food we need.
1.- Do you know where our food comes from? What does a plant need to grow? What plant parts do we eat? Where does the banana come from?
Plants need: sunlight, soil, water and a seed to grow.

FIRST ACTIVITY: Make a research on a plant crop. You have to answer to the following questions:
1.- What type of soil does your crop need?
2.- How much water does it need?
3.- How does the seed look like? Picture. And the fruit?
4.- Which foods are prepared with your chosen plant?

You have to write the information on a paper and put it in a plastic folder.
